Centrally located, Beulah was built in c1878 by one of Scottsdale's earliest pioneers and is a classic Victorian home set on half an acre of picturesque cottage gardens.

Beulah combines the ambience of yester year with to days expected comforts in gracious style. Jan and Holger offer old world hospitality that you will long remember.

A complimentary port or sherry in our spacious guest lounge, views of the surrounding countryside, comfortable attic bedrooms and tea/coffee making facilities are yours to enjoy. You can also spoil yourself in the private spa and sauna suite.

Included in the tariff is a hearty country breakfast with many home-made goodies.  Lunches, afternoon tea or an evening meal are available on request - please order when booking.

Guests are also advised that high-speed wifi, scanning and photocopying facilities are available.

Jan and Holger also run Cafe Rhubaba just 50m up the street from Beulah.  This is the new home of their rhubarb enterprise - RHUBRU. The cafe is open from 8.30am to 5pm each week day and 9-5 on weekends.  

Our Area

Beulah is ideally situated in the main street of Scottsdale.  It is a very short walk to banks, cafes, local hotels or Scottsdale Art Gallery.   It is a twenty minute drive to the spectacular Bridestowe Estate Lavender Farm.  Scottsdale is the ideal starting point for any ventures into North-East Tasmania's beautiful beaches and forests.   A trip to the world ranked Barnbougle Dunes golf course with it's wonderful sea views is a day trip option. 

Blue Derby mountain bike trails are a mere 24km away.  The North East Rail Trail is right on our doorstep too. We welcome you to the Dorset Municipality so come and enjoy some good, old fashioned country hospitality as you explore the North-East of our fabulous island state.
